Kooks Employee Ryan Reed Returns to Trucks at Richmond Raceway

The two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series Daytona International Speedway winner, Ryan Reed, is making his return to competition in the top-three series since 2019 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Richmond Raceway. Ryan Reed will be racing with CMI Motorsports and will be behind the wheel of the Camping World No. 49 Chevrolet Silverado truck this Saturday.

Ryan was able to not only be back behind the wheel this weekend, he also was able to obtain adequate sponsorship after a few conversations with Camping World CEO, Marcus Lemonis, which ensured he will be competitive for Richmond Raceway.

Ryan is currently the sales rep/business development position for Kooks Industries and Private Label at Kooks Headers and Exhaust. Ryan is tasked with managing existing current businesses and growing future business for Kooks and private label sales.

While unfortunately the California-native might not be behind the wheel each week, Ryan still has strong ties to the racing community by also being a driver coach and assisting with race team management. Kooks is very proud to have the seven-year racing veteran onboard who has already made great strides at Kooks by integrating his knowledge and experience into new markets for Kooks Headers and Exhaust to enter.

Kooks is very excited for Ryan’s opportunity to get back to doing what he loves, being behind the wheel and having a strong performance with the end goal reaching victory lane.

Additionally, Ryan competing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series this weekend is a bonus for Kooks being a sponsor for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for the 2021 season. Let’s Get Kookin’!

Warning / California (Proposition 65)

Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals.

Proposition 65 also prohibits California businesses from knowingly discharging significant amounts of listed chemicals into sources of drinking water.

Proposition 65 requires California to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. This list, which must be updated at least once a year, has grown to include approximately 900 chemicals since it was first published in 1987.
