Shipping and Returns
Kooks Headers and Exhaust will ship all in-stock items the same business day if ordered by 3:00 PM EST. Orders shipped within the 48 state continental U.S.A., Hawaii, and Alaska are shipped via FedEx or Truck Freight. Below you will find a map showing the standard transit times for FedEx Ground shipments. During the check out process you will have the choice of selecting an alternative shipping method if you would like to expedite your order, however this does not guarantee the product is in stock. The receiver is responsible for any additional import duties, taxes, broker fees, and miscellaneous fees based on final delivery destination and/or total shipment value. These fees are not included in the shipping quote given by and paid to Kooks and must be paid by the customer when the package arrives. Any free shipping qualification is for the 48 state continental U.S.A.. Hawaii & Alaska may be subject to additional shipping charges.
Kooks Headers and Exhaust will not alter or modify the invoice or customs paperwork in order to circumvent the amount of or reduce these duties, taxes, and broker fees.
Refusal to take delivery of the shipment will result in the customer being responsible for the initial shipping fees to his/her country and any/all subsequent return shipping fees.
*All residential deliveries will be sent out signature required.*
Please inspect your new Kooks Products within 30 days of receiving
them. We do our best to ensure that all necessary and required hardware
are included in your package, however, in the event that you are missing
any bolts, clamps or gaskets, we will gladly get those out to you via
USPS mail with proof of purchase.
At Kooks Headers, we are committed to providing the best possible experience for our customers. Over the years, we have established strong relationships with reliable courier services to ensure the swift and secure delivery of products. However, we understand that sometimes, unforeseen events can lead to lost or damaged packages. In response to the valued feedback we have received from both our vendors and customers, we have made a significant change to our shipping insurance policy.
We encourage you to protect your investment and safeguard the value of your items with insurance. If you choose to forgo the shipping insurance, you will need to select this option during the checkout process, but please note that Kooks is not responsible for any unforeseen events in shipping, and you will assume the risk of lost or damaged products. RETURNS AND CLAIMS
Returns will only be accepted 30 days from the date received and require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number & copy of the original invoice. Kooks reserves the right to refuse any package returned to us without authorization. Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges unless other arrangements have been made. Returned products may be assessed a 25% restock fee.
When shipping an item back to us, we recommend that you use UPS, FedEx or any other carrier that offers signature confirmation and insurance, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. The customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges, and all risk of loss during return shipment.
We will not accept a return of an item that is damaged or used/installed, special order, obsolete or superseded parts.
If you receive an item that has been damaged in shipping, please call us within 72 hours of receipt so we can initiate a UPS claim for the item. Please hold on to the original packaging and packing material because FedEx, in most cases, will need to inspect the items. A FedEx representative will contact you to set up a convenient time to inspect and pick up the package for return. Claims for part shortages must be made within ten days of delivery.
